This presentation will cover the common medical and psychiatric conditions that often co-occur with Autism Spectrum Disorder, explaining more about these conditions and offering resources to learn more.

Sensory Friendly Spaces for Home, School, and Community with
Kelley Pujol, M. Ed., M.M., MT-BC
This session will discuss sensory needs from a brain-based perspective and effective sensory environments. Attendees will get hands-on interaction with sensory experiences and materials during the session.

Common Solutions to Barriers to Learning  with Megan Tregnago, M. Ed., MHA, BCBA, LBA
This session is meant for professionals and caregivers looking to learn more about common barriers to learning, such as limited interests, inattention to tasks, insistence on routines, difficulty with transitions, and other common behavioral problems. Participants will walk away with simple solutions for helping individuals overcome these barriers and be more successful learners.

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM | Session 3
Social and Communication Skills for Teens and Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Workplace with Ann Schad, LCSW
This session will identify some of the typical struggles young adults with autism aging out of the education system may experience when entering the workforce. It will cover challenges related to social and communication skills necessary to acquire, maintain, and be successful in employment.
